It's Only the Beginning

Exciting things are happening at the UMKC Conservatory of Music.

Enrollment is growing. In fact, the Conservatory's enrollment of music and dance majors is at a 100-year high. Scholarship funding and gifts continue to increase and are higher than at any time in the Conservatory's history.

Programs are excelling. For example, the Conservatory has three UMKC pre-eminent programs including composition, music therapy and piano. In 2004, 98 percent of the Conservatory faculty was recognized for achievements at the national and international level and students garnered a total of 175 national and international honors.

The future looks very bright for the UMKC Conservatory of Music. You are invited to be a part of the events, programs and opportunities that honor what has grown into a world-class Conservatory and to celebrate a vibrant future that will inspire generations to come. It's only the beginning.
