George Salisbury Jazz Festival(February 5—6, 2010) is for big bands and combos of all levels. This year's esteemed guest artist is Sean Jones.
Academy Spring Festival (April 17, 2010) is an opportunity for young musicians to be adjudicated by professional musicians and master teachers from the UMKC Conservatory faculty. The Festival is open to all students; limited scholarships are available for Academy students.

Duff Timpani Masterclass(June 7—11, 2010) is a world-renowned comprehensive professional development workshop in the Cloyd Duff School of timpani playing.
UMKC Jazz Camp(June 27—July 2, 2010) is for young jazz instrumentalists and vocalists ages 14 - 20. Participants work with UMKC Conservatory's top-notch jazz faculty and with well-known guest artists.
Music and Dance Day Camps for ages 4—12 let young musicians and dancers of all experience levels explore the performing arts in fun weeklong workshops.
Summer Composition Workshop (June 20—25, 2010) for ages 14—20 is an intensive weeklong musical experience that helps young composers hone their craft and find their voices.
Wind Band Teaching Symposium(July 11—July 16, 2010) is an intensive professional development workshop with UMKC Conservatory Director of Bands Steven Davis and distinguished guest clinicians.
Glenda Brown Choreography project offers choreographers and dancers a phenomenal opportunity to explore and develop both technique and artistry.
Cello at UMKC brings together serious young cellists, ages 14-22, from across the country and around the world, accepted by audition only.
