Kansas City Children's Chorus Tuition

Tuition for the 2009 - 2010 season is $400.00.  Payment is due at the time of the first rehearsal (August 25, 2009).  Please click here for information about financial aid.

About the Kansas City Children's Chorus

The Kansas City Children's Chorus performs at various venues throughout the year and has collaborated with choral groups from around the Midwest.  In 2008, the Kansas City Children's Chorus collaborated with the University of Arkansas Children's Choir, presented two concerts at Central United Methodist Church, and sang the National Anthem at a Kansas City Wizards game.  Under the baton of Artistic Director Sarin Peck, the Kansas City Children's Chorus is a valuable musical enrichment experience for all young musicians.  Singers ages 8 - 14 are invited to audition.  Younger singers (ages 5 - 8) are welcome to join the Roo Singers; older singers (ages 14 - 20) are invited to audition for Canta Filia or Veritas.

• Mission

  The Kansas City Children's Chorus performs the finest in choral music, from sacred to classical, folk to musical theater, opera to pop which foster a greater appreciation for various musical styles. Singers develop skills in sight-reading, tonal production, and vocal technique. Rehearsals, individual practicing and performance opportunities cultivate the singers' discipline and deportment.
