BrĂ¡ulio Bosi

Adjunct Instructor, Guitar

Born in Colatina, Espirito Santo, Brazil he has been playing guitar for 15 years, starting at age 13. Bráulio has won multiple instrumental awards and performed in many venues, theater productions, festivals and concerts throughout Brazil and the United States.

Beginning his formal musical study at the Federal University of Espirito Santo in Brazil with a bachelor's degree in Music Education, Bráulio continued on with a full scholarship to complete a masters degree at Oklahoma City University and a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, in guitar performance.

Dr. Bosi currently researches in the field of performing arts medicine. He has co-authored a book on musician’s health entitled The Musician’s Health in Focus: Multiple Perspectives and his papers have been published by peer-reviewed journals worldwide including American Music Teacher, MTNA E-Journal, Per Musi, Musica Hodie, among others.
