Established in 2000, Jazz Friends is a 501 C (3) not-for-profit membership and volunteer based organization that consist of a board of directors, alumni, parents and community leaders. This organization is dedicated to preserving, supporting and celebrating the legacy of Kansas City's rich history of jazz. This is done by assisting the faculty and staff at the Jazz Studies Program in generating needed funds to offer educational programs, jazz camps/master classes and "live" performances of jazz ensembles that feature masters of jazz music. These funds are used to provide scholarships for eligible students, fund part-time adjunct faculty members, purchase sheet music, outreach programs, finance travel for qualified students participating in national and international jazz camps and competitions.
As a not-for-profit organization, your donations are extremely important to us. Funds from out annual signature "Jazz N' BBQ" event, membership fees and some sponsorship are simply not enough to go around. Your generous "tax deductible" donation gives us a dependable source of revenue to help us continue to grow a world premiere jazz organization.

MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies offer a matching gift program that allows their employees and retirees
to double and sometimes triple an employee's initial donation. In order to have
your gift to Jazz Friends matched, contact your company's Human Resources Department
to obtain a matching gift form. Please send the matching gift form in with your
