Conservatory Students Selected for Kansas City Symphony Reading Day, 2016
Three Conservatory composition students' works are selected for the Kansas City Symphony's 2016 Reading Day, May 4, in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts' Helzberg Hall.
Zachary Adrian, Armageddon
Alex Luttrell, Lightbeams
Ben Stevenson, Tracer
Zachary is an undergraduate and Alex and Ben are MM composition majors.
The Kansas City Symphony performs each students' work on the Helzberg Hall stage, allowing the students to hear their music performed by a professional orchestra. The students receive feedback from the conductor and are able to offer feedback. It is an honor and an invaluable experience for Conservatory students.
Congratulations to our students and thanks to the Kansas City Symphony.
