Conservatory Students Selected for Kansas City Symphony Reading Day, 2015


The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to announce that three Conservatory composition students have been selected for the Kansas City Symphony Reading Day, 2015.  The Kansas City Symphony, conducted by Aram Demirjian, will perform compositions by our students, giving the students an invaluable opportunity to hear their music performed by a professional orchestra.

The reading day is Tuesday, April 14, 2015 on the Helzberg Hall stage in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

The students and their works:

Wang A Mao:  Tibetan Tableaux, Arsid Ketjuntra: Up on the Hill, Below the Clouds; Cooper Ottum: Single Point Perspective.
