Saxophone Assistant Professor Zach Shemon Plays Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall


Conservatory assistant professor of saxophone, Zach Shemon, who is also a member of the prestigious PRISM saxophone quartet, (as alto sax) performs with PRISM in Zankel Hall, Oct. 15, 2013.

The program, performed by the PRISM and pianist George Emmanuel Lazaridis, features Koumendakis’s Typewriter Tune and the US premiere of excerpts from his piece Mediterranean Desert, Steven Mackey’s Animal, Vegetable, Mineral in a new transcription made especially for this concert, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
