UMKC Composition Student Tatev Amiryan To Perform At 2014 International New-Music Festival
Tatev Amiryan. a third year composition doctoral student has been chosen to perform her piano composition Waiting for the Dawn at the International New-Music Festival 2014, University of South Florida, Tampa, February 13–15, 2014.
The festival is presented by the USF composition department, in conjunction with the New-Music consortium and various School of Music studios. The principal guest composer is Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, chair of composition at the Eastman School of Music. The festival will include lectures and concerts featuring contemporary works by composers from around the world.
