Andrew Granade, UMKC Conservatory associate professor of musicology, hosts a six-week film series at the Kansas City Public Library, April 2–May 7, 2013. America's Music is a film and discussion series that looks at popular music from blues to bluegrass, Broadway to rock n' roll.

The events are on Tuesdays (the first one is April 2), at the Plaza library, 4801 Main, KCMO, starting at 6 p.m. with a short reception.

Each event features films followed by a discussion (and frequently some performances) led by Andrew Granade.
