Conservatory horn student Brett Hodge Performs with Kansas City Symphony

About the Conservatory

On May 25, 2011, Brett Hodge, a UMKC Conservatory student (BM in Horn Performance, '14), debuted as a concerto soloist with the Kansas City Symphony under the direction of Michael Stern. Brett was one of two co-winners of the 2011 Kansas City Symphony's Young Artist Competition.

Brett performed the first movement Gordon Jacob's Concerto for Horn and Strings to a packed house of Kansas City Symphony contributors at the Lyric.

Brett studies with UMKC Assistant Professor of Horn, Ellen Campbell.
