Vocal Alum Marcella Caprario Is Busy
Mezzo soprano and Conservatory alum Marcella Caprario, (MM Vocal Performance, 2006) has performed the role of Cherubino in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro with NY Streets Opera, was in the chorus of Verdi's La Traviata and Philip Glass's Orphée with Opera Company of Philadelphia, and played the role of Siebel in Gounod’s Faust with One World Symphony in New York.
She recently signed with management in NYC and travelled to Livorno, Italy to research traditional music of the Italian Jewish community, and is working on publishing an anthology of synagogue music.
