UMKC Composition DMA Student Nicholas S. Omiccioli Earns 2nd Place in NACUSA Competition


DMA Composition student Nicholas Omiccioli won Second Prize ($100, and a possible performance on a NACUSA National Concert) for his Gestures for solo flute in the 2010 Young Composers Competition.

The judges were Daniel Kessner (President, NACUSA), Dante De Silva (Correspondence Coordinator, NACUSA), and David S. Lefkowitz (Vice-President, NACUSA).
