UMKC Composition DMA Student Tatev Amiryan To Present Paper and Composition at Hawaii International Conference


Composition DMA student Tatev Amiryan is invited to present a lecture at the 12th Annual Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities, Honolulu, January 10-13, 2014.

The Hawaii International Conference includes different fields of arts and humanities, with participation of about 500 professional scholars representing different universities and institutions from around the world. Amiryan's lecture is about Armenian lullabies, along with her composition for soprano and piano Last Lullaby, which is a contemporary interpretation of an Armenian lullaby and dedicated to the mothers who died in the 1915 Armenian genocide.
