Vocal Alum Scott Conner Wins First Place in Gerda Lissner Competition
Conservatory vocal alum Scott Conner, (BM, Vocal Performance, 2008) who studied with Anne De Launay, won first place, along with a monetary prize, in New York's Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition. It is an annual competition open to men and women, ages, 21-35. Conner also won the Sarah Tucker Study Grant, which provides a monetary prize as well.
Conner currently has contracts in Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Dresden, France, and Glyndebourne during the next 22 months.
