Dr. Charles Robinson Honored by Florida State University


The Conservatory is pleased to announce that Dr. Charles Robinson, Professor of Choral Music Education, Choral Music, has won The Ella Scoble Opperman Award from Florida State University. The award is presented to an undergraduate alumnus for successful career accomplishments and is voted upon and presented by the full faculty of the FSU College of Music.  The plaque inscription reads “for distinguished achievements in Music Education and Scholarly Research in Music.”

Dr. Robinson is pictured in the center, above, with Dr. Clifford Madsen (his doctoral mentor and Coordinator of Music Education) and Dr. Patricia Flowers (Dean of the College of Music).
