Conservatory Composition Students Selected for International Festival
Two Conservatory composition students, Jason Bolte and Timothy Roy, were selected for the 2011 Ai-Maako Festival, Chile's International Festival of Electroacoustic Music. Only 14 compositions were selected and Jason and Timothy are the only Americans who were selected.
Jason Bolte (DMA, Dec. 2011) who recently got a tenure-track Assistant Professor position at Montana State University had his piece Noises Everywhere chosen.
Timothy Roy is a third-year MM student who did his undergraduate work at Southern Methodist University. His piece, Ghosts of Cluny was chosen.
