Conservatory Connections: Light Salon Concerts at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

The Conservatory Academy's new series expands our partnership with The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and features our award-winning faculty.

Set in the dramatic, light-filled space of the museum's Lens 2, these intimate performances include music inspired by works in the museum’s collections.

Conservatory faculty members Jane Carl (clarinet), Martin Hackleman (horn) and Robert Weirich (piano) open the 2012-13 Conservatory Connections: Light Salon concert series with an evening of Viennese chamber music, featuring works by Johannes Brahms and Gustav Jenner, Sept. 28, 2012, 6:30 p.m., Lens 2 Event Room.
