Performances and Events

The Conservatory produces about 500 performances each academic year — on campus and in the community. They include major student productions in Music, Dance and Theatre as well as recitals, main stage opera, choral concerts, master classes, guest lecturers and more — most of which are free. Research Spotlight

UMKC Conservatory's Director of Music Therapy and Associate Professor, Dr. Amy Robertson, is a board-certified music therapist who specializes in working with premature infants. Learn more about her research on the benefits of music therapy for extremely preterm infants born at 25-28 weeks.
