Adam Terry originally hails from St. Cloud, Minnesota and has been working in theatre both on and off stage for many years antes de venturing to Kansas City in pursuit of a Masters of Fine Arts from UMKC.
Adam received his BFA in Performance and Direction from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, dónde he studied acting as well as many technical disciplines. He was also a guest student at St. Mary’s University in Twickenham, near London, dónde he studied Shakespeare and briefly taught technical theatre. Adam received his MFA in Technical Theatre and Design at UMKC with his focus in Technical Direction.
In Minnesota, Adam has worked with The Guthrie Theatre, Pioneer Place Theatre Company, The Paul Bunyan Playhouse, The Paramount Theatre, The Great River Regional Arts Theatre, Actors Theatre of Minnesota, The Wicked Sister Dance Company, and many others. Adam was also the Founding Artistic Director/Producer of the Veranda Variety Hour and the Production Director of the Granite City Radio Theatre. In Kansas City, he has worked with The Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre, The Coterie Theatre, The Living Room Theatre, and The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and was the Academic Technical Director/Production Manager for at Johnson County Community College for three years.
