Assistant Professor of Musicology, Alison DeSimone has just published a co-edited essay collection Music and the Benefit Performance in Eighteenth-Century Britain (Cambridge University Press, 2019). She is at work on another book as well, in addition to her teaching at the UMKC Conservatory.
