About

Joshua Taylor possesses a wide range of experiences in technical production, lighting, and theatrical design. He holds an MFA in Theatre, Lighting Design & Technology from West Virginia University. In recent summers, he has been the Production Electrician for Glimmerglass Festival 2018-2021, MLB Hall of Fame, and West Virginia Public Theatre. In Summer 2024, he served as the Technical Director for the West Virginia Public Theatre, overseeing the productions of "Clue:On Stage" and "Steel Magnolias". Josh stays active with IATSE as a Rigger, EOS programmer, and lighting department head, as well as a lighting designer with The Kennedy Center; Chucho Valdez; La Creation and Jason Moran & Christian McBride; Continuum (featured on the PBS Special Next at the Kennedy Center), West Virginia Public Theatre; I Do! I Do!, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Cumberland Theatre; Wisome of Eve, True West, Clue: On Stage.
