Matthew Shiner is Assistant Teaching Professor of Stage and Production Management. Matthew has been stage managing professionally for more than 30 years, with experience in educational and professional environments in theater, opera, circus, events and dance, working with casts from 1 to 100+. Matthew was most recently in Dubai where he was the Stage Manager on Franco Dragone’s La Perle. More information about his career here.
Matthew has a BA in Theater from the University of California, Santa Barbara (graduated with honors, emphasis in playwriting and directing). He received his MFA in Stage Management from the University of California, San Diego.
