Sarah Bigge returns to the Conservatory as Manager of Admissions and Outreach. After recently moving back to the Kansas City metro, Sarah brings with her a rich background of music and administrative experience. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Music Education. As a band director she has actively taught secondary instrumental music in Bellevue, NE, Houston, TX, and Blue Springs, MO. Her marching arts resume includes working with BOA Super Regional finalist ensembles and WGI Scholastic A finalist winter guards.
Outside of her work with the Conservatory, she does contract work as a marching band tech and has a private flute studio. She finds great joy in showing her students new music, and encouraging them to take on performance opportunities outside of their normal comfort zone whenever possible.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband William, playing video games, and walking her corgi puppy Big Boss.
