The Conservatory is pleased to announce that four Conservatory students, Rick Firestone, DMA; Jared Marble, junior, BM/BME; Patrick Olmos, Artist's Certificate; and Walt Puyear, junior, BM; who study with Zachary Shemon, were selected as semi-finalists at the 2018 North American Saxophone Alliance Collegiate Solo Competition.
Out of 148 applicants, 25 were selected to compete in the live rounds in Cincinnati at the NASA Conference in March.
