The Conservatory is pleased to note that JoDee Davis, Associate Professor of Trombone, presents a trombone workshop, held at the University of Arkansas, February 25, 2017, and presented by the Community Music School.
The Arkansas Trombone Workshop features master classes, demonstrations, and performances by guest artists Craig Mulcahy, Principal Trombonist of the National Symphony Orchestra, and JoDee Davis, renowned trombone pedagogue and performer and faculty member at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance.
Students will have the opportunity to play in a mass trombone choir and, in addition to these wonderful performances and learning opportunities, the Arkansas Trombone Workshop also holds its own high school solo scholarship competition for juniors and seniors who are planning to major in music in college.
