Conservatory Music Education Student Alaina Bottini Wins Scholarship

Conservatory undergraduate music education student Alaina Bottini was awarded the Missouri Choral Directors Association Tresa Jo Wilson Scholarship at the MCDA Summer Conference, July 2017, Jefferson City, MO.

The scholarship commemorates the legacy of music education left by Tresa Jo Wilson. During her 37-year career, she taught music students from kindergarten to university level in Indiana and Missouri. Her students learned a love of music through dedication and expression. This $1500 ?scholarship endeavors to continue her influence on music education by supporting current students in their junior or senior year who are seeking that career path.
