The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to congratulate Mark Adair for winning the Presser Foundation Undergraduate Scholar Award. Mark will be a senior in the 2017–18 academic year and is working on his BME and BM, bassoon performance. He studies bassoon with Marita Abner.
Mark has been chosen by Conservatory faculty to receive this award for the 2017-2018 academic year. As the recipient of this prestigious award, Mark receives $4,000.00 to be used at his discretion. The award may be applied toward tuition, housing costs, and other expenses normally incurred in pursuit of a degree or for musical advancement opportunities not normally provided in a university or conservatory setting.
Mark has been chosen for his musical achievements during his first three years at the UMKC Conservatory.
