The Conservatory is pleased to note that Lee Hartman (MM, DMA, composition; ABT musicology) has been honored with the 2016–17 Excellence in Teaching Award Non-Tenure Track for the CAHSS at the University of Central Missouri, where he is on the faculty. Dr. Hartman is an active composer with numerous commissions and is the artistic director of the Mid America Freedom Band, Kansas City, MO.
