Conservatory student Tevin Williams, who is working on his BA, was a UMMC ambassador at the Missouri Capitol for his project “Fela and Today: Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Us.” He also presented his research at the 17th Annual Symposium of Undergraduate Research & Creative Scholarship in UMKC's Pierson Auditorium.
The presentations were part of Tevin's BA capstone project, for which he received support, including a SEARCH grant, Fall 2016 to do the research and give the poster/presentation in January 2017.
