Composition Alum Nahyun Kim Wins Composition Contest

The Conservatory is pleased to announce that Nahyun Kim (DMA composition, 2014) who is an adjunct assistant professor at Kansas City Kansas Community College, has won the 2017 Composition Contest with her work, Hypochondriasis for Piano.  The piece will be performed in Denver, CO at the 2018 Abundant Silence New Works Concert, January 27, 2018.

Additionally, her collaborative work with a saxophonist Bera Romairone, Hypnogogic Hallucinations for Alto Saxophone premiered June 17, 2017 at the Delian Academy for New Music, Mykonos, Greece.
