The Conservatory is pleased to note that Dr. Andrew Granade, Professor of Musicology and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies has published "Decoding Harry Partch's Aesthetic: Satire, Duality, and Water! Water!" in the journal American Music, Vol. 35, No. 2, American Music Onstage (Summer 2017), pp. 172-196.
Granade will also present a talk, "John Cage, Harry Partch, and Maverick Histories" at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Music Colloquium Series, Sept. 22, 2017.
Dr. Granade previously published a text on Partch, Harry Partch, Hobo Composer, in 2014.
