Composition alum Kerwin Young (BM, composition, 2012, MM composition, 2015) had a world premiere of his work Season of Autocracy by the University City Symphony Orchestra, April 22, 2018. Conducted by Leon Burke, III, the performance was at All Saints Catholic Church, St. Louis, MO. Kerwin Young was in attendance. Terry Crow, the mayor of University City, MO issued a proclamation honoring the concert and the composer.
