Ulli Reiner (BME, 1978), is featured in an article in the SD Voyager (San Diego). About her time at the Conservatory, she notes,
"I was the recipient of a full five-year double major music scholarship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music under Professor Tiberius Klausner, a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music and Galamian student. I moved to California after graduation to pursue studies at USC under the assistant to Jascha Heifetz, Yuiko Kamei and viola studies with her husband, Milton Thomas. After a year of studies and a tour offering to go to Europe with the San Diego Youth Symphony, I was hired by the San Diego Symphony under then conductors Peter Eros and David Atherton."
