Conservatory and UMKC Faculty Present Music Entrepreneurship Lecture at NAMM 2018

The Conservatory is pleased to note that January 25, 2018, Conservatory faculty Nick Petrella and UMKC faculty Andy Heise (Bloch School Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation) presented the workshop, “The Entrepreneurial Mindset from Theory to Practice: Developing What Entrepreneurs Value in Their Young Colleagues” at the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) 2018 international convention in Anaheim, CA.

Based on their Arts Entrepreneurship anchor course, Heise and Petrella’s presentation was selected by peer review by the College Music Society and was part of NAMM’s GenNext series of presentations for music business university students and faculty.  The standing-room only audience heard paradigm-shifting content and participated in activities designed to encourage creativity and idea generation.

Congratulations!
