The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to announce that Chen Yi's composition Concerto for flute and pipa is premiered by the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, Honolulu, Sunday, January 7, 2018. Linda Chatterton is performing flute and Gao Hong is performing pipa. The orchestra is conducted by JoAnn Falletta.
