World-Renowned Percussionist Bobby Sanabria in Residence at UMKC Conservatory

The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to announce that world-renowned musical artist Bobby Sanabria is in residence April 2–4, 2018. Drummer, percussionist, composer, arranger, recording artist, producer, filmmaker, conductor, educator, activist, multi-cultural warrior and multiple Grammy nominee, Sanabria has performed with a veritable who's who in the world of jazz and Latin music, as well as with his own critically acclaimed ensembles. Sanabria recently was awarded the JEN LeGENds of Latin Jazz at the Jazz Education Network annual conference, 2018, in Dallas, TX.

While at the Conservatory, Sanabria will work with a variety of Conservatory and UMKC students in master classes and a lecture.  All events on the UMKC campus are free and open to the public.
