The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that dance alum Shacura Wade (BFA, dance performance, 2015) is currently on the national tour with Disney's The Lion King as part of the ensemble. A St. Louis native, Shacura's previous work has included The Opera Theatre St. Louis, Kambre Contemporary Dance Company, The Ailey School, The Center of Creative Arts, Storling Dance Theatre, Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company, and The Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey.
