The Conservatory is pleased to note that Dr. Andrew Granade, well known for his work on Harry Partch, particularly his book Harry Partch, Hobo Composer (University of Rochester Press) was invited to speak at the Harry Partch Festival, University of Washington, Seattle, May 11, 2018.
He has also published "Lifting the Veil: A Report on Graduate Music History Pedagogy Training in the United States (2015)", in the Journal of Music History and Pedagogy, Volume 8, No. 2, which emerged from his music history pedogogy class at the UMKC Conservatory.
