Conservatory Composition faculty and world-renowned composer Chen Yi has been busy as a guest composer/professor around the country. On Nov. 2, 2018 she was guest composer/professor with Red Clay Saxophone Quartet at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, where she gave composition master classes, rehearsal coaching, and attended a concert performance of her composition Not Alone for saxophone quartet.
Dr. Chen Yi was also a guest professor/mentor for the Toledo Symphony Orchestra Work Reading Session for Bowling Green State University's Composition Students, and had a public post-reading master class at Bowling Green State University, on Nov. 6, 2018.
