The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that Professor of Choral Music Education, Choral Music, Music Education and Music Therapy Area Coordinator Dr. Charles Robinson's article "Effects of Disability Type, Task Complexity, and Biased Statements on Undergraduate Music Majors’ Inclusion Decisions for Performance Ensembles" is accepted for publication in the upcoming edition of the Journal of Music Teacher Education.
The Journal of Music Teacher Education is a peer-reviewed journal sponsored by NAfME, the National Association for Music Education (formerly MENC), and SMTE, the Society for Music Teacher Education. JMTE, with an average acceptance rate of approximately 33%, is available to any of the 100,000 NAfME members who indicate an interest in music teacher preparation. The journal disseminates research of any methodology related to music teacher education, and is considered the premier journal in music education related to music teacher preparation.
Congratulations, Dr. Robinson!
