The UMKC Conservatory is proud to announce that Dr. Joseph Parisi has been named Curators' Distinguished Professor. Dr. Parisi is Professor of Instrumental Music Education / Associate Director of Bands / Director of the Interdisciplinary PhD Program. He also directs the world-renowned Fountain City Brass Band, (whose members include Conservatory students, alumni, and faculty) which has won multiple international awards.
