The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to announce that jazz faculty and jazz studies co-coordinator and Grammy awardee Mitch Butler has been nominated by the Kansas City, MO mayor Sly James to the board of Kansas City's American Jazz Museum. Butler is one of 9 nominees.
