Alison DeSimone Recent Publications

Alison DeSimone, Assistant Professor of Musicology, who specializes in music of the Baroque period, with focuses on the early history of opera and seventeenth- and early eighteenth-century music in London, has recently published two book reviews: "Music in the London Theatre from Purcell to Handel" in Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies and "Songs Without Words: Keyboard Arrangements of Vocal Music in England, 1560–1760", in Notes, Quarterly Journal of the Music Library Association.
