Composition alumni Qingnan MA (MM composition 2016) is the composer for the film Spring Flower directed by Hua Tong (University of Southern California), which won the Gold Award under the category of Narrative (Domestic Film Schools) in the 45th Student Academy Awards competition hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The awards are given to student winners from colleges and universities around the world, held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, CA on Oct. 11, 2018.
