Composition DMA Student Shaosheng Li Has Works Premiered in China

Congratulations to Shaosheng Li, a UMKC Conservatory second year DMA composition student whose orchestral work Hope was premiered by the China National Symphony Orchestra in Shanghai, Sep. 10, 2018, and performed again at the China National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Sep. 30, 2018. Li's upcoming performances include his concerto for piano and orchestra, The Song Behind Clouds by the China National Symphony Orchestra with Feifei Dong (a winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition) in the Beijing Concert Hall, Nov. 20, 2018, and by the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra with Yunqing Zhou (a musician of Young Concert Artists) at Qingdao Grand Theater, Shandong province, Nov. 24, 2018.
