The Conservatory is pleased to note that Trevor Thornton, (piano performance, BM 2014; MM 2017) was approached to pilot an apprenticeship program at the New School for Music Study, in Kingston, NJ, starting October 2018. The program offers support for the profession through the training of young and emerging professionals and is designed to give foundational teaching experiences to recent music school graduates and emerging professionals. The focus of the program is to provide practical teaching experiences through a practicum-based apprenticeship.
