The Conservatory is pleased to note that Xi Wang (MM composition, 2003) is one of six young composers who will have a work commissioned by the Philadelphia Orchestra in an effort to strengthen the role of women in classical music. The annoucement was made by Orchestra president and CEO Matías Tarnopolsky.
