The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that graduate student Daniel Shineberg is selected to present his research with UMKC alumni, CharCarol Fisher, MA, MT-BC at the 2018 National AMTA Conference in Dallas Texas, Nov. 15–18, 2018. Their research is titled "Analysis of Trauma Narratives in Rap Therapy for Adolescents in Residential Treatment."
Daniel finished his coursework for his MA in Music Therapy in spring 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Amy Robertson and Dr. Robert Groene, and is currently working on his DMA in Flute Performance with Dr. Mary Posses.
