The Conservatory is pleased to note that April Kim (DMA, piano performance, 2018) has had her proposal Exploring Three East Asian Composers: Toru Takemitsu, Chen Yi, and Jiyoun Chung selected for inclusion at the 2019 College Music Society International Conference in Brussels, Ghent, and Bruges, Belgium, July 11–18, 2019.
Dr. Kim is currently Visiting Assistant Professsor of Music at St. Olaf College, her alma mater.
